Since the past year, Emolene has worked really well for me. I have been suffering from severely dehydrated skin and it’s been tough to find an appropriate moisturizer for my combination and acne-prone skin. I came across Emolene and gave it a go and have truly loved it ever since! It is super light yet effective. In fact, I love using it on my body even more so. Just a word of caution though- if you suffer from fungal acne occasionally, I would suggest you do patch tests for a couple of days so that it doesn’t trigger your acne! And there isn’t a downside to this product since it wouldn’t go to waste as you can apply it on the rest of your body instead.

My skin used to be flaky and dry most of the time and I always carried a face cream with me just so that I could reapply it during the day since I didn’t want my skin to look dry and patchy. When I heard about Emolene, I thought that there was no harm in giving it a try as well, since I had tried so many other things to manage my dry skin before. But lo and behold- It worked really well for me! At the very least, I don’t have to carry around any extra product with me anymore. And the fact that it is a water-based product makes it even better as it is a better option for my oily t-zone. An Emolene hack – It also works as a great base for my makeup too!

I really enjoy using Emolene because it’s a lightweight moisturiser and it has a watery texture and more importantly it hydrates my dry skin. It blends in instantly and seamlessly onto the skin and doesn’t feel oily at all because of its watery texture. I use Emolene in the morning and also use it as my base which helps make my makeup look smooth and flawless. If you are someone with dry skin then you need to add this cream in your skincare stash pronto!

Emolene was recommended by my dermatologist and ever since then, the second my skin feels even slightly irritated or dry, I rush to use this product. It has been a saviour through several burns (that was caused due to application of products that did not suit my skin), as a makeup base and as a daily nourishing repair cream.

It is extremely soothing and calming. It feels like water on the skin. The hydration that it offers is quite high. You can feel instant softness when you apply it. It glides well on the skin and instantly absorbs. Skin feels hydrated for a long time. It has all the features of what a moisturiser must do. It’s also super affordable. I have used many costlier moisturisers and most of them haven’t worked like this one. Emolene contains propylene glycol which acts as a humectant which helps in hydrating and gives a dewy finish to the skin. It will suit all skin types but still, you can do a patch test at first to check if it will suit your skin. If you aren’t satisfied, don’t waste it, you can use it on your body. It is an absolute Holy grail for dry skin and does not feel greasy at all. It acts as a fantastic base under my makeup. And the best bet is that it’s super affordable and easily available at medical stores and online.

Emolene is a rare drugstore find which is a lightweight, super hydrating, non-greasy moisturizer. I religiously use it every single day, morning and night. Even before makeup, Emolene helps with skin prepping. The texture is so thin, only a tiny quantity gets absorbed into the skin like a dream. And from there, you get moisturised skin for the next 6 hours easily. Emolene would be a holy grail for dry-skinned beauties at least it is for me. It helps me steer clear the heavy moisturisers which leave my skin oily and greasy. It leaves my skin hydrated and nourished without feeling heavy. It’s a great for overnight treatment for dehydrated, parched skin. If you are looking for a lightweight, high-performance moisturizer that’s also light on the pockets, Emolene is the one. I also use it after any acid based skincare product like after using my Pixi Glow Tonic with 5% Glycolic Acid

Emolene has been the talk of the town recently. I was introduced to this magic potion about a year ago by a dermatologist when my skin got excessively dry while I was on prescription retinol and it has been life-saving for me. It instantly healed my overly dry skin, But it tends to work for oily & normal skin types as well due to its lightweight texture. It’s basically a humectant based moisturizer which essentially helps draw water to your skin making it smooth & plump. From what I’ve gathered some people love it & some hate which can be due to skin sensitivity or its ph. It’s a god send if it works for you as its lightweight, affordable and easily available at any local pharmacy. Also, it comes in an old-school metal tube rather than plastic. It’s also cruelty-free and fragrance free.
