Broadcaster Verdict: The Ordinary AHA+BHA chemical peel is a must-try product from this brand. A beautiful formulated chemical exfoliator of 30% AHA + 2% BHA with a water-like consistency. This product has a strong formula and should be introduced slowly to skincare otherwise you will see great havoc on your skin overnight. I personally introduced in my evening skincare once a week for 3 consecutive weeks and slowly upgraded to twice a week afterward. I will be sticking to twice a week only since over-exfoliation can do much harm than good. I have Combo- Sensitive skin (complicated) so I put for 4-5 minutes normally. It stung a bit at first (quite normal) followed by itchiness. Finally, washed it off with water and started my evening skincare. This product turned out to be a game-changer for me. My skin looks more refined and polished. My pores seem to clearer since 2% BHA acid removes the junk from the inside of the pores. 30% Alpha hydroxy acid is quite strong on the skin, therefore the condition of your skin should be considered before applying. Applying on any open wound or abrasion on the skin is a complete no-no, shaving your face right before and after is also not recommended. Personally, I feel this a great chemical peel. The ingredients are pretty simple and transparent. Good things take time likewise this chemical peel did a good job with constant use. If you are looking for a chemical peel which can deliver the maximum result in an affordable budget, this is a definite go-to. A very affordable and effective chemical peel and a little product goes a long way.

Broadcaster Verdict: A little backstory on my skin, about four years ago I suffered from pretty severe cystic acne due to hormones. After figuring out what worked best for my skin and starting a regimented skincare routine, I was able to smooth out my skin texture and clear up some congestion in my pores. While in the midst of dealing with my cystic acne, I tried everything that I could and because of the lack of research and desperation, I ended up damaging my moisture barrier. Months after I was able to get things under control, I had been looking at a few of The Ordinary products and the AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution caught my eye. I decided to take the plunge and make the purchase. Honestly, it was one of the best things I’ve done for myself and two years later, I haven’t looked back.
If you are looking for something to assist with smoothening your skin texture and relieving some poor congestion, I definitely suggest giving this a try. The acids are pretty strong so I do recommend building up the full 10-minute usage as suggested weekly. One thing I learned
about my skin is that I lack lactic acid which makes me more prone to congestion, especially on my nose. This mask has helped me clear my pores which makes them look smaller than they really are. My skin has benefited so much from this mask and after constantly piling on
foundation to hide any acne scars and hyperpigmentation, I am proud to say that I no longer need to wear it! So with all that said, this product is absolutely a #HolyGrail item on my beauty shelf.
