Q. Tell us a little about yourself.
I have always been fascinated by philosophers and critical thinkers like Camus, Nietzsche, Kafka and so much more. I spend my time reading up or listening to podcasts on philosophy or poetry as I like to be reminded of my humanity and the way it works emotionally and rationally as well. Philosophy, Politics and Poetry are three things that are very important to me and I’ve been interested in them ever since I was a child.
Q. Can you take us through your everyday beauty routine?
First and foremost I have combination skin. My skincare routine must always consist of a vitamin C serum and tons of hydrating products! Everything in my routine should be hydrating to me. My toner is a hydrating toner, my serum should be an antioxidant and a hydrating serum, sometimes I layer them, and my moisturiser must be a great emollient. In terms of hair care and body care- I make sure to exfoliate once a week with an exfoliating shampoo and other days, I oil my hair an hour before washing. I use a body scrub once a week or I use my exfoliating skincare products on my body too.
Q. What would be your one highly recommended beauty product, hack, service or DIY that you think everyone should give a shot?
Get a hydrating toner and apply 3 layers of it and you’ll not need a serum! And always invest in your basics.
Q.Imagine your dream beauty product that currently does not exist. Why this product and what would you really want it to do for you?
My dream beauty product would be a mask that has light therapy as well as a hydra facial in one without being too expensive. I think that light therapy is pretty cool however it’s not easily available to all, and while having light therapy I would want to hydrate my skin at one go at home.
Q. Anything else that you would like to share with the Basic Beauty Broadcaster community?
I would like people to remember that a good basic routine be it for your skin or hair or body is very important, sticking to the basics and not over complicating it works wonders, once you’ve figured out your basics, try and experiment.
